EVENTS

Dissolving the Dream is primarily intended to be a resource with a do-it-yourself plan, so it is really up to you to create your own event.  I will be using this page for any events including my own which I believe are worth tuning into.  Scroll down for a couple short poems, if you like.

Catalyst Event – June 11th, 2019 – 7pm

Join local visionary, musician, and author, Adam Rose for a radically unique and engaging evening. The experience will be interactive and mostly light-hearted, although the subject matter could not be more critical and profound. In particular, we will be taking a look at the salvation attempt of 2000 years ago, and exploring what needs to happen now to seal the deal. I assure you that my views and delivery will be unlike anything or anyone else, and that you will leave feeling uplifted and optimistic about our future. We will also take an honest assessment of the cost of continuing on aimlessly but will spend little time there, as the intention of this event is to give you a taste of what is possible. You will not want to miss it – especially if you are a genuine seeker, so commit to attending and don’t let any goonball voices talk you out of it at the last moment.  Who knows – we very well might make history. The event will be free, and there will be prizes.

‘How do you Reconcile?’

How do you reconcile a baby’s soft cheek,
with baking hot asphalt,
a leaf twirling to the ground,
with a bullet piercing the flesh,
the fragrance of a rose in the morning,
with a pile of wet garbage,
the peace of an evening stroll,
with the madness of rush hour,
the caress of a loving hand,
with the blow of a clenched fist,
and the melody of a bamboo flute,
with the shouting in a broken home?
How do you reconcile the brightest light
with the blackest darkness?
Or must we be asleep to live in a world,
so impossible, that it cannot be so.

‘Darkness Isn’t Real’

‘Darkness isn’t ‘real’, you say,
For this you know quite well.
For it were, you’d see it,
And oust it with a spell.

‘Darkness isn’t real’, you say,
As the blood streams down your arm.
For cuts and scrapes are all okay,
No reason for alarm.

‘Darkness isn’t real’, you say,
Wth ten years passed by in vain.
It’s all a choice, and some go wrong,
But it’s you alone that reins.

‘Darkness isn’t real’, you say,
As wars rage overseas.
It’s just ego and unmeasured greed,
A typical disease.

‘Darkness isn’t real, you say,
As fire consumes your home.
Just a chapter to reflect on,
Engraved within your tome.

Darkness isn’t real, you say,
As your beloved cries in pain.
The fire will make you stronger,
And seal your bond in flames.

Darkness isn’t real, you say,
As you watch your child expire.
Your dejection soothed by the thought of her,
Singing lofty in a choir.

Darkness isn’t real, you say,
As you shake the devil’s hand.
You praise him as your savior,
As you front his hellish band.
